Her real name is María Lucía Sanchez Benitez.She was born on 15th March,1982 in Madrid.Her father is the singer Pepe de Lucía,and the guitarist Paco de Lucía is her uncle.
She started her career in 1998,with her first album titled ''Aprendiz''. Other albums are: ´´Cambiaras'' 1999, ''Esta vez'',2001, ''Otra piel'',2003,and eleven other albums,the last album in 2018.titled,''Oxígeno''.She has had many hits,including´´Aprendiz'',''Invisible'',''Quiero'', and others.Her type of music is pop,pop rock,pop latino,ballads,flamenco.
She has won several awards,among others, you hhave´´The best artist of the year 2014,nominated to latin gramis,2011,2013,14 dial awards and others.She has sold more than 3500000 albums.
She is also known offstage for collaborating with organizations such as Cruz Roja,Unicef,save the children or greenpeace.
